Self-hugging

Bin mir nicht sicher, ob die Erkenntnis wirklich neu ist - fürchte eher nicht. Und noch mehr ist zu befürchten, dass die Erkenntnis ansich rein garnichts ändert :-(
Aber das Wort «Self-hugging» ist einfach wunderschön ...

Image Editing - immer perfekter

Inhaltsorientierte Bildskalierung heißt das - Photos werden neu zusammengesetzt, Zwischenräume verschwinden, Gesichter perfekt auf neue Körper gesetzt; das ganze Programm eben. Ich bewundere die Perfektion und die Möglichkeiten. Aber auch heute wieder: right or wrong?

Was ist Realität? - Visual Modification

Mal wieder ein Beispiel für kleine "Modifikationen" in den Medien, die man schon häufiger in der einen oder anderen Form finden kann. Was weglassen, kleine Dinge groß betonen, die "richtigen" Interviewpartner ...

Diesmal: Kanzlerin Merkel (CDU) war in Grönland zwecks Klimakatastrophe gucken. Und natürlich mit viel Publicity; schließlich sollen wir alle sehen, dass sie guckt. Dabei war auch Umweltminister Gabriel. Aber das wird mal eben - zumindest den Lesern mancher Zeitungen wie hier dem "Wiesbadener Kurier" - vorenthalten. Vielleicht, weil er nicht wie die Kanzlerin der CDU, sondern der SPD anghört? Im Text kam es übrigens auch nicht vor.

Chancellor Angela Merkel headed to Greenland on Thursday with her environment minister for talks on global warming. Some called this a PR-Gag. Other used it in their own way. So, the "Wiesbadener Kurier" didn't mention that the environment secretary was present too, cut him out of the photo. So it seems that Mrs Merkel ist the only one, who ist interesting in healthy environment. Is this because the secretary represents another party as Merkel?
